Periwinkle's Pumpkin Pie Shop

When Periwinkle was a stray kitten, he was found by a witch named Agnes near the plants he was named after. He served her loyally as her companion, following her wherever she went like a shadow. However, as Agnes grew older and her health declined, Periwinkle began taking care of her: handling the chores and even baking her favorite dessert, pumpkin pie. Despite his devoted care, Agnes’s health eventually failed, and on her deathbed, with Periwinkle by her side, she bequeathed her inheritance to him, saying, “Live out the rest of your life doing whatever brings your heart happiness.”

With those words close to his heart, Periwinkle decided to open a pumpkin pie shop as a way to keep his memories of Agnes alive and to share the joy her favorite dessert had brought her with the rest of the world.
