Sleepy Valley

Travel to the town of Sleepy Valley, where its inhabitants' favorite activities mostly involve eating and sleeping. A cool breeze sweeps through the alleys and streets of the town, carrying with it the scent of expertly baked goods and the sweet smell of flowers, two things the town is famous for!

This piece started off as a cool-down sketch, but escalated into a full blown painting! I really liked the potential the sketch had, and wanted to see just how far I could push it. A huge thanks to Thomas Chamberlain Keen, Axel Sauerwald, Morten Pedersen and Ken Darmadi for the extensive feedback and encouragement they provided throughout the creation of the piece.
